Kitten's Home

This kitten popped up a "meow" as I walked across a small drain outside
some food shops. It already knew the tricks of the trade of living here, his
home.

Two days back, I help a dog out of a drain where it broke one of his leg. It was
one of those street dogs who lived in the neighborhood, strong built and heavy.
He probably lived in the streets all his life, his home. After he got free, he
quickly limped away.

I've lived in my home for the past 22 years of my life. What has my home
taught me?
